Meet Cristina Otazua
CO-OWNER & CO-FOUNDER
Born and raised in Bilbao, Northern Spain, the final years of her education took her to France and Germany, before moving to Madrid, where she spent more than a decade working for a blue chip international automotive company.
After moving to London and leaving her corporate marketing background behind, she decided to pursue her long-term love affair with interior design. She joined The Interior Design School and a couple of years later Twenty Three Studio was born.
Interior Design is not just about completely redoing your house. It is more about how you live within your home, about the experiences and moments that you create in it.
As a designer, she feels that her job is to help her clientes articulate the way they want to live, the things they want to live with and make it happen by guiding them every step of the way.
Genuiley curious, she is inspired by everything that catches her eye, such as a shop's window, a film, a painting, making her design style layered and welcoming.
A treasure hunter at heart, she likes different styles and eras and mixes vintage finds with contemporary furnishings, combining colour, pattern and texture.
